If making Flange Catchers yourself, make sure that your design is adequate for the task required. Over the year we have seen some abysmal attempts at making Flange Catchers. They also need to be made strong enough so that the diver is not put in any danger of the catchers giving way. Good machining, welding, fit up and strength testing is essential.
